Wherefore they took of the men of the country, that were authors of that mischief, about fifty persons, and slew them.

Therefore they took of the men of the country, that were authors of that mischief, about fifty persons, and killed them.

Jonathan’s men seized about fifty of the men of the country who were authors of the wickedness, and he killed them.

And they toke fiftie men of the countrey, which were the chief workers of this wickednes, and slewe them.
