Sirach 31:28

Wine measurably drunk and in season brings gladness of the heart, and cheerfulness of the mind:

Wine drunk in season and in moderation is joy of heart and gladness of soul:

Wine was made [from the beginning] to make men glad, [and not for drunkennes.] Wine mesurably dronken and in time, bringeth gladnes and cherefulnes of the minde.
