Sirach 33:26

A yoke and a collar do bow the neck: so are tortures and torments for an evil servant.

Set your slave to work, and you will find rest. Leave his hands idle, and he will seek liberty.

Send him to labour, that he go not idle: for idlenes bringeth muche euil.
