1 Maccabees 1:27

Every bridegroom took up lamentation, and she that sat in the marriage chamber was in heaviness,

Every bridegroom took up lamentation, and she that sat in the marriage chamber was in heaviness,

Every bridegroom took up lamentation. She who sat in the marriage chamber was mourning.

For the princes & the Elders mourned: the yong women, and the yong men were made feble, & the beautie of the women was changed.
