1 Maccabees 2:27

And Mattathias cried throughout the city with a loud voice, saying, Whosoever is zealous of the law, and maintains the covenant, let him follow me.

Mattathias cried out in the city with a loud voice, saying, “Whoever is zealous for the law and maintains the covenant, let him follow me!”

¶ Then cryed Mattathias with a loude voyce in the citie, saying, Whosoeuer is zealous of the Law, and wil stand by the couenant, let him come forthe after me.
