Sirach 10:12

The beginning of pride is when one departs from God, and his heart is turned away from his Maker.

The beginning of pride is when one departeth from God, and his heart is turned away from his Maker.

It is the beginning of pride when a man departs from the Lord. His heart has departed from him who made him.

Why is earth & ashes proude, seing that when a man dyeth, he is the heire of serpents,beastes and wormes?
