Sirach 20:28

He that tils his land shall increase his heap: and he that pleases great men shall get pardon for iniquity.

He that tilleth his land shall increase his heap: and he that pleaseth great men shall get pardon for iniquity.

He who tills his land will raise his harvest high. He who pleases great men will get pardon for iniquity.

Rewardes and giftes blinde the eyes of the wise, and make them domme, that they can not reproue fautes.
