Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that setteth a trap shall be taken therein.

He who digs a pit will fall into it. He who sets a snare will be caught in it.
Who so diggeth a pit, shal fall therein, [and he that laieth a stone in his neighbours way, shal stomble thereon,] and he that laieth a snare for another, shalbe taken in it him self.
