Sirach 5:13

Honor and shame is in talk: and the tongue of man is his fall.

Honour and shame is in talk: and the tongue of man is his fall.

Glory and dishonor is in talk. A man’s tongue may be his downfall.

If thou hast vnderstanding, answer thy neighbour: if not, laye thine hand vpon thy mouth, [lest thou be trapped in an vndiscrete worde, and so be blamed.]
