1And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said , These are the words which the Lord has spoken for [you] to do them.
1Moses assembled all the congregation of the children of Israel, and said to them, These are the words which Yahweh has commanded, that you should do them.
2Six days shall you perform works, but on the seventh day [shall be ] rest—a holy sabbath—a rest for the Lord: every one that does work on it, let him die.
2Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be a holy day for you, a Sabbath of solemn rest to Yahweh: whoever does any work in it shall be put to death.
3You shall not burn a fire in any of your dwellings on the sabbath-day; I [am] the Lord.
3You shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations on the Sabbath day.’”
4And Moses spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This [is] the thing which the Lord has appointed you, saying,

5Take of yourselves an offering for the Lord: every one that engages in his heart shall bring the first fruits to the Lord; gold, silver, brass,

6blue, purple, double scarlet spun, and fine linen spun, and goats' hair,

7and rams' skins dyed red, and skins [dyed] blue, and incorruptible wood,
7rams skins dyed red, sea cow hides, acacia wood,
8and sardine stones, and stones for engraving for the shoulder-piece and full-length robe.

9And every man that is wise in heart among you, let him come and work all things whatever the Lord has commanded.
9onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod and for the breastplate.
10The tabernacle, and the cords, and the coverings, and the rings, and the bars, and the posts,
10“‘Let every wise-hearted man among you come, and make all that Yahweh has commanded:
11and the ark of the testimony, and its staves, and its propitiatory, and the veil,
11the tabernacle, its outer covering, its roof, its clasps, its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets;
12and the curtains of the court, and its posts,
12the ark, and its poles, the mercy seat, the veil of the screen;
13and the emerald stones,
13the table with its poles and all its vessels, and the show bread;
14and the incense, and the anointing oil,
14the lamp stand also for the light, with its vessels, its lamps, and the oil for the light;
15and the table and all its furniture,
15and the altar of incense with its poles, the anointing oil, the sweet incense, the screen for the door, at the door of the tabernacle;
16and the candlestick for the light and all its furniture,
16the altar of burnt offering, with its grating of bronze, its poles, and all its vessels, the basin and its base;
17and the altar and all its furniture;
17the hangings of the court, its pillars, their sockets, and the screen for the gate of the court;
18and the holy garments of Aaron the priest, and the garments in which they shall do service;
18the pins of the tabernacle, the pins of the court, and their cords;
19and the garments of priesthood for the sons of Aaron and the anointing oil, and the compound incense.
19the finely worked garments for ministering in the holy place—the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons—to minister in the priest’s office.’”
20And all the congregation of the children of Israel went out from Moses. And they brought, they whose heart prompted them, and they to whoever it seemed good in their mind, each and offering:
20All the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.
21and they brought an offering to the Lord for all the works of the tabernacle of witness, and all its services, and for all the robes of the sanctuary.
21They came, everyone whose heart stirred him up, and everyone whom his spirit made willing, and brought Yahweh’s offering for the work of the Tent of Meeting, and for all of its service, and for the holy garments.
22And the men, even every one to whom it seemed good in his heart, brought from the women, [even] brought seals and ear-rings, and finger-rings, and necklaces, and bracelets, every article of gold .
22They came, both men and women, as many as were willing-hearted, and brought brooches, earrings, signet rings, and armlets, all jewels of gold; even every man who offered an offering of gold to Yahweh.
23And all as many as brought ornaments of gold to the Lord, and with whoever fine linen was found; and they brought skins [dyed] blue, and rams' skins dyed red.
23Everyone with whom was found blue, purple, scarlet, fine linen, goats’ hair, rams skins dyed red, and sea cow hides, brought them.
24And every one that offered an offering brought silver and brass, the offerings to the Lord; and [they] with whom was found incorruptible wood; and they brought [offerings] for all the works of the preparation.
24Everyone who offered an offering of silver and bronze brought Yahweh’s offering; and everyone with whom was found acacia wood for any work of the service, brought it.
25And every woman skilled in her heart to spin with her hands, brought spun [articles], the blue, and purple, and scarletand fine linen.
25All the women who were wise-hearted spun with their hands, and brought that which they had spun: the blue, the purple, the scarlet, and the fine linen.
26And all the women to whom it seemed good in their heart in their wisdom, spun the goats' hair.
26All the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun the goats hair.
27And the rulers brought the emerald stones, and the stones for setting in the ephod, and the oracle,
27The rulers brought the onyx stones and the stones to be set for the ephod and for the breastplate;
28and the compounds both for the anointing oil, and the composition of the incense.
28with the spice and the oil for the light, for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.
29And every man and woman whose mind inclined them to come in and do all the works as many as the Lord appointed them to do by Moses—[they] the children of Israel brought an offering to the Lord.
29The children of Israel brought a free will offering to Yahweh; every man and woman whose heart made them willing to bring for all the work, which Yahweh had commanded to be made by Moses.
30And Moses said to the children of Israel, Behold, God has called by name Beseleel the [son] of Urias the [son of] Or, of the tribe of Juda,
30Moses said to the children of Israel, Behold, Yahweh has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.
31and has filled him with a divine spirit of wisdom and understanding, and knowledge of all things,
31He has filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of workmanship;
32to labor skillfully in all works of cunning workmanship, to form the gold and the silver and the brass,
32and to make skillful works, to work in gold, in silver, in bronze,
33and to work in stone, and to fashion the wood, and to work in every work of wisdom.
33in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all kinds of skillful workmanship.
34And [God] gave improvement in understanding both to him, and to Eliab the [son] of Achisamach of the tribe of Dan.
34He has put in his heart that he may teach, both he and Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.
35And [God] filled them with wisdom, understanding [and] perception, to understand to work all the works of the sanctuary, and to weave the woven and embroidered work with scarletand fine linen, to do all work of curious workmanship [and] embroidery.
35He has filled them with wisdom of heart to work all kinds of workmanship, of the engraver, of the skillful workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of those who do any workmanship, and of those who make skillful works.
