1But Job answered and said,

2To whom do you attach yourself, or whom are you going to assist? is it not he that [has] much strength, and [he] who has a strong arm?
2How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength?
3To whom have you given counsel? is it not to him who has all wisdom? whom will you follow? is it not one who has the greatest power?
3How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?
4To whom have you uttered words? and whose breath is it that has come forth from you?
4To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?
5Shall giants be born from under the water and the inhabitants thereof?

14Behold, these are parts of his way; and we will listen to him at the least intimation of his word: but the strength of his thunder who knows, when he shall employ [it]?
14Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?
