1(30) For the end, a Psalm and Song at the dedication of the house of David. I will exalt you, O Lord; for you have lifted me up, and not caused my enemies to rejoice over me.
1Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
2O Lord my God, I cried to you, and you did heal me.
2Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
3O Lord, you have brought up my soul from Hades, you have delivered me from [among] them that go down to the pit.
3The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters.
4Sing to the Lord, you⌃ his saints, and give thanks for the remembrance of his holiness.
4The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.
5For anger is in his wrath, but life in his favor: weeping shall wait for the evening, but joy shall be in the morning.
5The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars; yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.
6And I said in my prosperity, I shall never be moved.
6He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.
7O Lord, in your good pleasure you did add strength to my beauty: but you did turn away your face, and I was troubled.
7The voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire.
8To you, O Lord, will I cry; and to my God will I make supplication.
8The voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness; the Lord shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.
9What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to destruction? Shall the dust give praise to you? or shall it declare your truth?
9The voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.
10The Lord heard, and had compassion upon me; the Lord is become my helper.
10The Lord sitteth upon the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth King for ever.
11You have turned my mourning into joy for me: you have torn off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
11The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.
