1(66) For the end, a Song of Psalm of resurrection. Shout to God, all the earth.
1For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David. A song. Praise waits for you, God, in Zion. Vows shall be performed to you.
2O sing praises to his name; give glory to his praise.
2You who hear prayer, all men will come to you.
3Say to God, How awful are your works! through the greatness of your power your enemies shall lie to you .
3Sins overwhelmed me, but you atoned for our transgressions.
4Let all the earth worship you, and sing to you; let them sing to your name. Pause.
4Blessed is the one whom you choose and cause to come near, that he may live in your courts. We will be filled with the goodness of your house, your holy temple.
5Come and behold the works of God; [he is] terrible in [his] counsels beyond the children of men.
5By awesome deeds of righteousness, you answer us, God of our salvation. You who are the hope of all the ends of the earth, of those who are far away on the sea.
6Who turns the sea into dry land; they shall go through the river on foot; there shall we rejoice in him,
6By your power, you form the mountains, having armed yourself with strength.
7who by his power is Lord over the age, his eyes look upon the nations; let not them that provoke [him] be exalted in themselves. Pause.
7You still the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil of the nations.
8Bless our God, you⌃ Gentiles, and make the voice of his praise to be heard;
8They also who dwell in faraway places are afraid at your wonders. You call the morning’s dawn and the evening with songs of joy.
9who quickens my soul in life, and does not suffer my feet to be moved.
9You visit the earth, and water it. You greatly enrich it. The river of God is full of water. You provide them grain, for so you have ordained it.
10For you, O God, has proved us; you have tried us with fire as silver is tried.
10You drench its furrows. You level its ridges. You soften it with showers. You bless it with a crop.
11You brought us into the snare; you laid afflictions on our back.
11You crown the year with your bounty. Your carts overflow with abundance.
12You did mount men upon our heads; we went through the fire and water; but you brought us out into [a place of] refreshment.
12The wilderness grasslands overflow. The hills are clothed with gladness.
13I will go into your house with whole burnt offerings; I will pay you my vows,
13The pastures are covered with flocks. The valleys also are clothed with grain. They shout for joy! They also sing.
