¹(94) A Psalm of David for the fourth [day] of the week. The Lord is a God of vengeance; the God of vengeance has declared himself.

¹Yahweh reigns! He is clothed with majesty! Yahweh is armed with strength. The world also is established. It can’t be moved.

²Be you exalted, you that judge the earth: render a reward to the proud.

²Your throne is established from long ago. You are from everlasting.

³How long shall sinners, O Lord, how long shall sinners boast?

³The floods have lifted up, Yahweh, the floods have lifted up their voice. The floods lift up their waves.

⁴They will utter and speak unrighteousness; all the workers of iniquity will speak [so].

⁴Above the voices of many waters, the mighty breakers of the sea, Yahweh on high is mighty.

⁵They have afflicted your people, O Lord, and hurt your heritage.

⁵Your statutes stand firm. Holiness adorns your house, Yahweh, forever more.
