1(94) A Psalm of David for the fourth [day] of the week. The Lord is a God of vengeance; the God of vengeance has declared himself.
1Yahweh reigns! He is clothed with majesty! Yahweh is armed with strength. The world also is established. It can’t be moved.
2Be you exalted, you that judge the earth: render a reward to the proud.
2Your throne is established from long ago. You are from everlasting.
3How long shall sinners, O Lord, how long shall sinners boast?
3The floods have lifted up, Yahweh, the floods have lifted up their voice. The floods lift up their waves.
4They will utter and speak unrighteousness; all the workers of iniquity will speak [so].
4Above the voices of many waters, the mighty breakers of the sea, Yahweh on high is mighty.
5They have afflicted your people, O Lord, and hurt your heritage.
5Your statutes stand firm. Holiness adorns your house, Yahweh, forever more.
