Most Christians have never read the Book of Esther. They have read a version of it. The Esther in your Bible comes from the Masoretic Text, the standard Hebrew text produced by Jewish scribes called the Masoretes between roughly 600 and 1000 AD, centuries after Christ. In that version God is never named. Not once. No prayer is answered, no dream is interpreted, no decree from the throne mentions Him. The book reads like a court drama with the Author edited out. The Septuagint, the Greek Old Testament that Jesus and the Apostles actually read and quoted, preserved the whole book. Every passage the Masoretes removed is still there: the opening dream that frames the story, the prayers of Mordecai and Esther where God is named openly, Esthers collapse before the king, the two royal decrees, and the closing interpretation that explains what all of it meant. This video is the entire restored Book of Esther read in one sitting. All ten chapters, from the Septuagint, with every removed passage put back in its place. Nothing skipped. A narrator frames the open and close. A single scripture voice reads the book straight through. Chapter cards mark all ten chapters. WHY WE DO THIS This is not an attack on any people. Read that line twice. Sovereign Logos is Christ-first and non-denominational, and we hold no grievance, ethnic or political, against anyone. The concern is a text, and the point is the gospel. Every page of the Old Testament points to Jesus Christ. Esther is one link in the chain that had to be preserved so the Messiah could come through the line of David. When He came, He said plainly: I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but by Me (John 14:6). That is the whole reason this matters. A book where God is removed is a book pointed away from Christ. The restored book points back to Him. And the warning is real. To those who never knew Him He will say, I never knew you, depart from Me (Matthew 7:23). Yet at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11). The King is coming. The only question is whether you know Him now or meet Him then.
