Sirach 7:5

Justify not thyself before the Lord; and boast not of thy wisdom before the king.

Don’t justify yourself in the presence of the Lord, and don’t display your wisdom before the king.

Iustifie not thy self before the Lord: [for he knoweth thine heart,] & boast not thy wisdome in the presence of the King.
